The mission of the Club is to promote opportunities for club members to participate in all types of boating activities and related social functions, and to encourage and facilitate recreational and competitive boating activities encouraging interaction between members of this club and those of other boating organizations. It is desirable that club members, particularly officers, also become members of the US Naval Sailing Association, to enhance interaction between military boating organizations and to establish and support a training program, which will encourage development of boating fundamentals. Members of the club may advise and assist the Commanding Officer of Naval Station Everett in all facets of boating and marina operation, with particular emphasis on the naval sailing program. The club will support, participate in, and conduct activities such as racing, cruising, parades, displays, and waterfront social events.
The club is open to all military active duty, retired and reserve personnel and their families, and active DoD civilian employees and selected members from the community. The small initiation fee includes a new burgee and two name tags. Annual dues are $50 for active duty military members and $100 for all others. The club meets monthly at the Everett Naval Station and schedules cruises and outings monthly throughout the year. An application for membership may be obtained by contacting the Rear Commodore or by printing and mailing a copy of the membership application to Navy Yacht Club Everett, Attn: Membership, PO Box 12217, Everett, WA 98206-2217.
